HOW LIFE MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE (LMA) WORKS

Life Management Assistance (LMA) is practical support to help you navigate various aspects of your life more effectively.

By working collaboratively with your therapist, LMA will help you address practical challenges, set goals, & develop strategies to enhance well-being & bring balance into your life.

Your therapist will help you gain insight into your current patterns & behaviors that may be hindering you from effectively managing your life.

LMA can offer skills & strategies such as effective communication techniques, setting realistic goals, & creating self-care routines.

Together, you will collaborate with your therapist to develop effective strategies & how to implement them in practical situations.

Through your journey, LMA promotes self-awareness & personal growth, leading to empowerment towards intentional choices & changes that align with your core beliefs.

Therapy can also help your child:

  • Cultivate effective communication & coping skills.

Therapy provides a safe & supportive space for children to express their thoughts, feelings, & experiences. Sessions may explore age-appropriate communication skills, such as active listening, expressing emotions, & healthy boundaries. Through play therapy, art therapy, or discussion techniques, children can improve their ability to communicate their needs, boundaries, & concerns effectively.

  • Grow in confidence & self-awareness.

Therapy helps children develop a greater understanding of themselves, their thoughts, feelings, & behaviors. Through discussions, activities, & reflection, children can explore their strengths, values, & areas of growth. This self-awareness enables children to develop a positive identity, build resilience, & make more informed choices in their lives.

  • Develop emotional regulation & empathy.

Children often struggle with regulating their emotions, which can lead to impulsive behaviors or emotional outbursts. In therapy, children learn techniques to identify & understand their emotions, as well as tools to regulate them effectively. Techniques may include emotional recognition activities, relaxation exercises, & cognitive-behavioral intervention to help children develop their skills.
